FAQ

A suspension seat post is designed to replace your standard bicycle seatpost. It features a suspension or damping mechanism between the top part that connects the saddle to reduce the amount of vibration that reaches the saddle.

It’s not how many times the suspension rapidly cycles (high frequency) up and down that causes joint pain and discomfort. It’s the barely detectable, low-frequency vibration (measured in Hz) that enters your body from a less efficient suspension system.

We recommend you adjust your seat or handlebar height or position when you install the STRATOSystem™.

When you sit on the saddle or lean on the handlebars, the STRATOSystem™ will compress until it equalizes with your weight.

No additional Tuning is required to ACTIVATE OR ADJUST the STRATOSystem™ while cycling :

1. You don’t need to take tools along to adjust your seat or handlebar height to activate the STRATOSystem™ for different terrain,

2. You don’t have to pull a lever to activate the STRATOSystem™ and;

3. You don’t need to change your body position to activate the STRATOSystem™, i.e move in the saddle or apply more pressure to handlebars.

We offer different durometer (stiffness) levels of the isolation mounts for cyclist preference. When ordering your STRATOSystem™, you will select your weight category and suspension preference (stiffer or softer) and the appropriate isolation mount will be installed before it ships.
